Most of us are so used to being entertained or at least kept busy all the time, so the mere prospect of spending an entire week or more doing nothing is terrifying.

Do not despair, despite the images of people peacefully resting in hammocks neatly hung between swaying palm trees, there are lots of things to do in The Bahamas, and especially on New Providence Island and Paradise Island you will find an abundance of activities and attractions.
